Aharon Feiner Eden Materials Library in Design Museum Holon services professional Architects, Designers, Engineers and Industrialists with up-to-date information regarding the latest innovations of the Material World.
The library opened to the public early 2008 with the support of the Municipality of Holon and the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor, as part of Design Museum Holon. This is a unique project, the first, and one of its kind in Israel.
The library’s showroom holds hundreds of material samples introducing various qualities, textures, structures, prints and uses, available for sight and touch. These materials are also presented on the library’s online catalog and materials search engine (here) that provides full information on each and every material, as well as a link to the manufacturer or supplier. It functions as an essential work tool for the professional users. The online catalog is accessible and open to the public free of charge.We invites you to a new weekly blog, showcasing chosen materials from the collection. Get to know fascinating materials, technologies and trends hand picked by our staff. Some of the materials feature in objects on display in the current exhibition.
