The first book dedicated to the museum collection and deals with chairs from the collection. 28 chairs, the work of international and local designers, familiar iconic chairs alongside innovative prototypes by students from the leading academies in Israel express the museum’s approach to the collection and reading the world of design through it. The book includes an original article by Prof. Azri Tarzi dealing with the development of the “chair” object in Western culture.
